Simon LewisKeymasterFolks our public night programme is now being advertised and open for tickets
Can you share this on all groups, social pages you have access too, maybe some community pages etc
We will also need quite a few more volunteers this year as we have added every Friday into the calendar from April – Sept bar a few dates for other events such as Kidsfest (just more of the same but every night LOL)
So please let Rob and I know if you’re available and want to help – they are a great opportunity to be part of a fun team for the evening, meet the public (honestly it really is rewarding) and a chance after to get some training on the scopes at CAS or just enjoy a night browsing the skies.
No knowlegde needed – we can always help with the main scopes etc and its always the added extras like crowd control, ushers etc we need hands to help with π
If we get enough we can spread the load and we always get some nights rained off so should be able to crack in quite a few if we can get the help – and of course Kidsfest is madness for like 2 weeks everynight!!!
Rob will manage the names and rosters closer to the dates but please shout if you want to be considered – we will always says yes π
thanks Simon & Rob

David HillParticipantHi there
We are new to CAS, but Sasha and I are happy to help. Sasha is also keen to get some telescope operating lessons and has already had one lesson with James Moffat on the Oxford Observatory telescope.
Thanks
