Saturday October 24th – Member Night at the Observatory
Our monthly members night at the observatory is tomorrow Saturday 24th – no formal plans but member normally gather around 7pm onwards – rain or shine.
This month we are doing an induction for new members – so if you are new to the society come along and say hello and allow us to show you around the facility and explain how we manage accreditation.
I will be down around 6pm to set up my imaging gear for the night if anyone is interested in seeing some astro photography
If anyone wants to bring a scope or needs help with their gear feel free to bring it along.
I don’t want to talk too loud but it looks like it could be a fine evening for observing
No doubt we we will get a look at Mars tomorrow night too !
