Simon LewisKeymasterJust a reminder Saturday night is members night at the observatory.
All welcome – no specific agenda but if skies are clear its a good time to get telescope time hint hint! but we do go ahead even if cloudy / rain.
There is a small working bee from 3pm on to help tidy up before open nights start.
I will also do a short training session on how we operate open nights – so if you are a volunteer for open nights and want to walk through what happens so you are not in the dark on our first nights (boom boom!) then come along and I will walk people through what we do.
Probably aim to start the volunteer training around 7pm.
See you on Saturday – No RSVP needed but bring your gardening tools and gloves 🙂

Rob GlasseyModeratorAlso on Friday, the day before, we have a high school group booking from 8pm (still daylight saving).
Check out https://cas.ivolunteer.com/
If you’re new to this, you are most welcome to come along anyway and see how we do it, look through the scopes and chat.
