John PickeringParticipantKia ora koutou katoa.
This week is the UN’s World Space Week with the theme this year being “Women in Space”
I’m part of a challenge to get 1 million girls looking at space this week. So, take your girls out this week to look at the night sky – spot Mercury,Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, the Southern Cross and Scorpius (https://unistellaroptics.com/wsw2021/). If it is cloudy, download the free eBook with info about some women in science and a whole heap of activities, or jump into the art competition.
[ps: the links are to the web pages of Unistellar who promote citizen science and produce enhance vision scopes. I am NZ’s Unistellar ambassador with a goal of simply sharing the beauty of space and the wonder of science – I have no commercial links. The others involved are SETI and the Planetary Society. World Space Week was set up by the United Nations]

Rob GlasseyModeratorAwesome!
If you like, you can write a post for the CAS Facebook page and I can post it as an official CAS post.
Send me the text with any images and links and I’ll post it.
