    Tuesday 8th November 2022

This is the last lunar eclipse for many years, and the forecast is looking great.

Members only event. Not to be missed!

    • First bite out of the moon at 10:09 pm NZDT
    • Blood moon (total eclipse) starts at 11:17pm
    • Deepest red (maximum eclipse) at 11:59pm
    • Total eclipse ends at 12:41am
    • Partial eclipse ends at 1:49am

The moon will be low to the North East.

The next two lunar eclipses will be in 2025 but they occur at sunset and sunrise here so the total eclipse will not be easily visible.

The next good total lunar eclipse will be on 3rd March 2026 at similar times to Tuesday’s eclipse.

    See you all there!
