    Kia ora Folks

     

    We kick off this years programme with a talk from a former young CAS astronomer and now Professor of astronomy David Buckley.

    His talk is entitled “From CAS to CAS: Telescope and Observatory Globe Trotting”

     

    We look forward to seeing you all at tonights meeting. Social meeting starting 7:30-8:00pm followed by the main meeting with some brief notices and then David’s talk.

    Also the New astronomers session from 6:30-7:30pm will look at Eclipses and the forthcoming Total Lunar Eclipse of the 3/4 March.

    In follow up, the meeting tonight is in the Ernest Rutherford Building, Room 225. See the campus map at:

    Parking on campus is available and at present the bollards do not appear to be operating in the car park nearest to Ernest Rutherford.
