Rob GlasseyModeratorWe will be holding this months Members night this Saturday, from 7:00pm (postponed from last Saturday, which was a Kidsfest night)
We’ll be doing some imaging for those keen to learn more about astrophotography, we’ll have the dobs out with a good selection of targets to hunt down, and plenty of planets to look at. We’ll also be doing some visual on the big scopes for eye-candy, and for anyone who want to learn more about using them. Get there early to learn about opening up the buildings as part of accreditation.
Feel free to bring your own scopes and get some tips on how to get the best from them. Anything, really!
With the full moon in the sky it will be a good night for practice and learning, so you can make better use of the darker moon free nights.
We might even have some images from the eclipse on Saturday morning!
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided!
See you there!

Rob GlasseyModeratorThe members night is still on!
It looks like there will be some cloud about tonight, but there may well be gaps. In any case, we’ll go ahead anyway!
Bring photos from this morning and share your story.
We’ll open up the scopes and do some training too.
BYO scope for advice and the chance to see something!
I’ll get the biscuits and milk 🙂
See you at 7 tonight!
