Here is the current information for the 2026 event at Staveley Camp. The 2026 event is from Thursday 19th March to Sunday 22nd March Thursday afternoon/evening and Friday until dinner time is going to be “Free Time” and the chance to have an extra observing night with the speakers starting Friday evening.
Camp will be open for you to arrive from 3pm Thursday, and will close by 2pm Sunday. With clean up from 11am Sunday.
Fees for our 2026 Camp are:
Adults (16+ years) $35 per night, children (5-15 years) $15 per night under 5 yrs are free but please register them.
SATURDAY EVENING MEAL: Bring food for all meals and a dish for a pot-luck dinner on Saturday evening. Stardate will supply meat and vegetables. The type of dish should be based on the first letter of your surname:
Surname begins with A-K: Dessert
Surname begins with L-Z: Side dish or salad
Remember to bring your pillows, sleeping bags, towels, warm clothes, eating utensils and food. And don’t forget your observing equipment.
CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE:
People attending STARDATE 2026 do so entirely at their own risk. Neither the organisers nor the owners of the complex will accept any liability for injury or accidents. NO alcohol, drugs firearms or animals on site. There is no charge for a caravan point. After the refund cut-off date, 10 February 2025, there will be no refunds for cancellations. You can register after this date, however.
