    looking for a dew heater or a cheap alternative? just don’t want my lens to keep frosting on the felid. if anyone has any for sale or has any cheaper ideas please comment it. cheers

    You can make one cheap with a ladder of resistors. you can make it the right diameter for the camera/telescope lens. Can run directly from 12 volts or use an arduino to set variable duty cycle to save power. Mine full blast uses about 1.5 amps.

    I can show you how it is constructed if you want.

    As above, you could make them, but there are companies that sell them. I have a couple from astrozap. They are a little bit pricey but are well made and have Velcro and a DC plug already fitted
