17 March 2026 New Astronomers & CAS AGM in Rehua Building, Room 427

Kia ora

This months meetings are being held in room 427 of the Rehua Building on the corner of Arts and Forestry Roads at the University of Canterbury. 2 buildings to the East of the Ernest Rutherford building. Entrance to Rehua is opposite the Central Lecture Block and Julius von Haast buildings, as you go inside head to the bank of 3 lifts to the East and go up to the 4th floor. Room 427 is on the left as you leave the elevators.

The New Astronomers sessions will discuss “Tools for planning your Observing” Covering things like interpreting weather forecasts, software for selecting observing targets and planning.

Following on after that is the AGM starting at 8pm and can also be joined via Zoom. Zoom details below and then the Agenda.
