Absolutely awesome views of Jupiter & Saturn last night through my C11. The GRS transited while I observed, and festoons were everywhere. I could see at least three bands in addition to the two equatorial belts. Saturn’s Cassini division was visible all the way around, and cloud bands were clear on the surface of the planet. A gentle NE wind ensured good seeing.
