Carol McAlaveyModeratorWe are back! Don’t forget we are now holding our monthly meetings upstairs in Room 225 of the new Ernest Rutherford Building. Meeting starts at 8pm but come early if you want to get a cuppa.
Our president Rob Glassey is giving the talk this month on Urban Observing and making the most of your back yard.

Preetha SreedharanParticipantOr recorded sessions which can be viewed later – Carol said she’d talk to Marc to see if this was possible. Cheers

Euan MasonModeratorAbsolutely awesome views of Jupiter & Saturn last night through my C11. The GRS transited while I observed, and festoons were everywhere. I could see at least three bands in addition to the two equatorial belts. Saturn’s Cassini division was visible all the way around, and cloud bands were clear on the surface of the planet. A gentle NE wind ensured good seeing.
