Terry RichardsonModeratorOn Members night I will run a session on the 12 inch for those wanting to look at accreditation.
This will be designed to look at opening and closing the enclosure and starting and closing down the scope.
This will not in itself achieve accreditation but will ensure competence so that you can do it on your own (with an accredited person on site) and gain sufficient experience for later sign off. Once accredited on the 12, it is a small step up to the 16.
Can do this with a maximum of 5 or six people. First in first get. Post here if you would be interested.
We will be tree planting from 3 pm and will do the training after that while still daylight.
Bring something for dinner if you want to stay.
I havent consulted Simon or Rob yet but hope they can do similar familiarisation for the Dobs. If necessary this can be done in the evening after dark

AnonymousInactiveHi,
Who is required to sign off on accreditation? Is it anyone who is already accredited or a specific person? (I am forward planning.)
Thanks
