The countdown is on! The Hororātā Highland Games are back this Saturday 7 November! Read more for full Visitors Guide.

There’s plenty to look forward to:

23 Pipe Bands, joined by the Woolston Brass Band for a special Chieftain’s Welcoming Ceremony.
The Home of the Heavies – top athletes from NZ and Australia battling it out.
Tug O’ War, Junior Warriors, Kilted Mile, Kids Sack Races(new) and loads of Have-a-Go activities.
Scottish Clans, Highland Dancing, live entertainment and over 130 market and food stalls.

NEW – Join a Clan!

Get the whole family involved in our new Join a Clan challenge. Pick up your entry form at the gate, find the six hidden letters around the Games and solve the secret word. Take your completed entry to St Andrew’s Square, where you can meet the Scottish Clans, explore history and traditions, and go in the draw to win a family WeeBox all the way from Scotland! Every entry counts for your Clan.
