NGC 6357 – the Lobster Nebula – narrowband band Hubble pallette
Built from 40 x 180′ HA 30 x 180′ SII and 40 x 180′ subs. Shot at unity gain on an ASI1600MM-Cool mono camera with an Astronomik 6nm narrowband Filter Set loaded in an EFW8 filter wheel – Telescope was my lovely Stellarvue SV80ST running on the Celestron CGX, guided by 50mm guiderscope and ASI174mm mini guide cam – all under the watchful eye of Sequence Generator Pro.
Processed in Pixinsight, just an amazingly powerful software package – My first ever full hubble PI processed image!
