Thought I’d share a little bit of location info for helping anyone spot this new comet, hopefully this coming Wednesday may give us a weather break! (Pleeease!!!!) to spot this while it’s around.

AnonymousInactiveA few more on Facebook astronomy group sites as well. As well as the CAS FB ones of Robs. The photos on FB helped me find it and confirm it was what I thought it was by the background star patterns cross referenced with Stellarium. I found it pretty easily with my bino’s, attached the laser to the bar in the centre, took a photo so I could find it later on a really bad landscape photo. And there it was – a green dot. Yeah me! First comet.

Marc BunyanParticipantI use Mobile Observatory Pro – far superior to SkySafari – i only use SkySafari for the odd bit of telescope control.
