Terry RichardsonModeratorWe are replacing the LX200 (12 inch) telescope with a Celestron CPC11.
As from today the 12 inch will be out of commission.
The CPC 11 arrives this week but we are looking at mounting the new wedge before it arrives so we can organise any engineering modifications.
We may also have to modify the enclosure but this is not certain at the moment until the scope arrives.
We hope to have the new scope up and running in a week or two.

Terry RichardsonModeratorThe wedge fits (with a little engineering and the telescope has arrived!
Waiting to paint the pier, then the wedge and scope can be mounted.
Not sure yet if it will clear the roof of the enclosure, but hopefully the new scope will be commissioned in a week or so (depending on weather for polar alignment and calibration).
Cheers
Terry
