Marc BunyanParticipantHi All,
I’m looking to a take a photo with my Canon 5D of the Observatory and the southern cross – I was wondering if anyone would have a full-frame suitable wide prime or fast lens that I could use at CAS for a shot or two of the night sky there.
If anyone could please pop me a message, …i’d be happy to hear from you!

Goran BalvanParticipantHi Marc,
I am in Nikon camp and would be happy to lend camera (D5300) and ultra-wide lens (Samyang, F2.8/14mm) if you can’t find Canon lens.

Cameron McEwingParticipantHi Marc, I have a Canon EF mount Samyang 14mm f/2.8. You would be welcome to use it as long as I can join in the fun. Cameron 🙂

Cameron McEwingParticipantHi Goran, Would it be possible to take some astro images with your D5300/Samyang 14mm sometime, and compare them with my Canon 650D/Samyang 14mm setup? Cameron 🙂
