In Remembrance
We are sadden to announce that after a short illness, we have lost our very good friend and long time CAS supporter, Graeme Kershaw.
Graeme passed away last night in Christchurch hospital ICU surrounded by family and friends. He was taken ill on Wednesday and was in an induced coma until he passed just before 7pm Sunday 20th May.
Graeme was a good friend to so many and a very talented man. He is a husband and father and will be missed by his large community of friends.
Graeme retired 2 years ago after 51 years in the Physics and Astronomy Department at Canterbury University. A highly skilled engineer, he is well known for his UC work and his work in restoring the Townsend telescope, which damaged in the earthquakes and was being beautifully restored by Graeme.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Dale, his wife and the families. You can contact Dale on 2dale.graeme@gmail.com
