Kidsfest Volunteers Needed – Please register your attendance

Hey Folks,

 

we are just a few short weeks away from Kidsfest!

This is a fun even that runs every night (weather permitting) from 1 – 16 July through the kids school holidays.

We are looking for volunteers to help out as we need approx 7 volunteers each night so we’d like to spread the load a bit!

You don’t need to be an expert but if you can look after a scope, a dob or help usher people or help out at the gate then your support would be appreciated.

These are great events for CAS for many reasons, see my editorial in this months CASMAG as to why!

Even if you can only help out a few nights then every hour helps the rest of the team cope over the whole holiday!

Its fun, entertaining and a great opportunity to engage with the public as a society.

Hi, we’re brand new family members. Can I volunteer for the gate (and anything else I can do without any knowledge of the telescopes) one night this kidsfest and the rest of the family join in for kidsfest things?

Still getting to know how we can join in especially with the kids so hoping we can chat to people too

welcome aboard. even though we have enought helpers for tonight you are more than welcome to come out and help I am sure we can find things for you.

we meed from 6.30pm for set up etc
