Members Night 19th Oct
Our members nights are great opportunities to get out to the observatory in the warmer evenings and make the most of a warm night and clear skies while learning to drive the scopes in more clement surroundings. We have a number of mentors and coaches available – all you need do is ask!
Come to a members night at the observatory and give us a shout and we will only be too pleased to help.
This Saturday we also have Andrew Buckingham from ASTRONZ who will be displaying and selling some astronomy items in the lodge at the observatory. He is travelling down to Tekapo on Sunday for the Starlight Conference and will drop into CAS in the evening.
As you may know CAS gets a donation from them with each purchase you make (please mention you’re a CAS member when ordering)
You can also pre-order for pick up (although I wouldn’t leave it too long as the van will be on its way very soon!)
