Hey Folks
you will notice a new icon on the bottom right of the screen with a wee bell in it.
In there you will see notifications from site activities such as…
- Notify user when user role is changed.
- Notify user when someone comments on their post
- Notify user when someone replies to one of their comments
- Notify user when another member views their profile
- Notify user when guests views their profile
- bbPress – Notify user when someone replies to them on topics they created
- bbPress – Notify user when someone replies to them on any specific topic
You can turn these on / off from your profile as you like.
On your profile you will also see a message tab and using this you can send other users private messages.
- Allows users to send private messages to other users
- Adds a messages tab to each user profile so users can view all conversations and read/send private messages from profile
- Automatic refresh of private messages
- Adds option to user account page for users to decide if they want to receive private messages or not
- Sends an e-mail notification to users when someone starts a new conversation with them
- Adds option to user account page so users can turn on/off receiving an e-mail notification for new conversation
