Title: Science and Adventure on the Ice
Abstract: A personal perspective on science being conducted in Antarctica by the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences at the University of Canterbury. I’ll talk about the process of getting there, living and working at Scott Base, and the experience of being in one of the most remote places on Earth. Also how easy it would be to compare with the likely experience of a future Mars base.
