EMERITUS PROFESSOR JOHN HEARNSHAW: ‘THE INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION AND ITS WORK’
John will describe the history and work of the IAU. The IAU is now interacting far more with amateur astronomers, so all amateurs should be aware of what the IAU is doing and how IAU members (who are professional astronomers) can help amateur societies.
