I’ll be out at the observatory using the 16″ to image NGC 346 later tonight, unless someone has a greater need to use it.
I think there will be quite a few people interested in looking through the 120 & the other scope that night. Sharing it around will be required on the night.
But the eclipse is a fairly slow event, so there should be plenty of opportunities for quick images and viewing.
Understand that Rob. Someone used it the whole night last time but as long as it’s shared fairly so photos are nicely spaced out would be ideal though! See you there!
Looking at going out tonight bout 9.30 with 18yo grandson and friend. Might look at 16 if not already aligned.

I’ll be heading out tonight to use the 11″ if anyone wants to join – won’t be for too long as will have some younger kids with me. (8+)
Crossing fingers the forecast is right with clouds dissipating before 21:00, if so I will image with my own gear from a terrace
