I’ll be out tonight (sunday 17th) doing some planetery videos – on the 120 due to predicted high winds.

If it’s clear tonight I’ll be heading out to the observatory with my new Seestar, hoping for clear dark skies 🙂

I’ll be out at the Obs later (after 8) on the C11 – will be grabbing some time on the moon with my own camera…

I’m aiming to be out at the observatory after 8:00 tonight to use the 16″ – going after a tricky nebula.

I’ll be heading out to the observatory tonight, hopefully gathering more photons from the Dragon’s Egg on the 16″ – likely after 20:00.

I’ll be out there tonight with the group from the Astronomy course from Papanui High School. There are a total of 6 students, if they can all make it.

7-9 pm

We will be using the 120, a dob, the 14, and the 16, with a short time on each plus setup before 7.

 

The usual group booking fees will apply, plus all money I get from Papanui High for running this evening will also be donated to CAS, as Euan and I have always done.

No additional volunteers are required.
